DOZENS of Winnipeggers gathered yesterday to clean up
an abandoned dump on the banks of the Seine River.
The former St. Vital municipal dump was capped with clay almost
50 years ago. In the last two years community residents have spearheaded
a clean-up effort under the name Save Our Seine (SOS).
