Help Us Build an Accessible Dock!

Updated: Jul 13, 2020

Dear Save Our Seine Supporters,

Winnipeg's first accessible canoe/kayak dock will soon become a reality with your help.

It will allow community members with various abilities, families and those new to water craft to enjoy the waters of the Seine River by canoe or kayak. For most people, it will make kayaking and canoeing a much easier thing to do.

The dock is to be installed near the John Bruce bridge. It will become a more universal way to access a kayak or canoe!

We have raised $147,900 so far and only have $30,000 to go! We need your help now to get to our goal.

We are on our way to our goal thanks to the Province of Manitoba Building Sustainable Communities grant, the support from the provincial Conservation Trust, Winnipeg Councillor Brian Mayes, Mountain Equipment Co-op, the Winnipeg Foundation, the Thomas Sill Foundation, and the Blennerhassett Family Foundation.

We need your help! We know the friends of Save our Seine are great mobilizers! Three Ways You can Help:
