Volunteers are an integral part of everything we do. Volunteering with Save Our Seine will allow you to use your skills or gain new ones while giving back to the community and protecting our environment.
We are actively seeking volunteers for the following roles.
Board Directors: Board directors work as a team to oversee the organization (through the establishment and implementation of bylaws and policy), its financial well-being, and day-to-day operations. Board directors are elected at the annual general meeting in April. Learn more.
Landcare Volunteers: Join a group of local people who are making a difference along the Seine and adjacent meadows; conserve and restore the land by removing invasive plants, re-introducing wildflowers, and planting trees. Drop-ins welcome - see here for upcoming Landcare events.
Volunteer Coordinator: Follow-up with volunteer applicants and identify specific roles/tasks for them; address volunteer questions and concerns; maintain records of volunteer hours.
Water Monitoring Volunteers: Develop and/or execute a water monitoring program to measure and record water quality and/or water levels. Measurement equipment will be provided.
