What is SOS?
SOS is a non-profit organization working to preserve, protect, enhance, restore, and repair the urban Seine River and surrounding greenway. Who we are
Our organization is comprised of a group of dedicated individuals, working to ensure a sustainable and protected urban Seine River and surrounding greenway that provides a healthy habitat for vegetation and wildlife and contributes to the quality of life of all residents and visitors.
Our Values SOS is an organization that values community, connecting with people through the love of the Seine River, and the input of our members.
SOS Community
Becoming a SOS member is a way for residents to become part of a community helping to achieve our vision. The work at Save Our Seine depends greatly on the involvement of community members and volunteers. None of this work would be possible without the involvement of members to plan and participate in the organization’s work. SOS engages a diverse range of community members who help plan public education and awareness events, remove invasive species, plant trees, and many other types of community-based activities.
