Perhaps you're a seasoned angler looking to connect with others fishing on the Urban Seine River, or maybe you have always wanted to catch your first fish? Join Save Our Seine and the Manitoba Wildlife Federation on Thursday, October 8th for a fun, family-friendly Fishing For All workshop at Lagimodière-Gaboury Park. Bring your own gear or share the equipment provided. Bait is included, no fishing licence is required, and participants will receive free take-home tackle to help get their fishing kit started courtesy of Bass Pro Shops. Attending the workshop enters you into a draw for one of 2 Bass Pro Shops® King Kat Rod and Reel Spinning Combos or one of 4 Bass Pro Shops Extreme Utility Boxes! The Seine River is home to an incredible diversity of fish species, including northern pike, catfish, walleye, shiners, dace, and many more. Ride the Urban Seine with Bike Winnipeg and SOS

Join Save Our Seine and Bike Winnipeg for a guided ride along the Urban Seine River Greenway. Discover one of the chilliest, simplest and most pleasant ways to get from the south Seine all the way to the confluence of the Seine and Red Rivers at Lagimodière-Gaboury Park!
Along the way, we’ll stop at sites throughout the Greenway to talk about the work Save Our Seine and our partners have been doing to keep the Urban Seine River Greenway healthy, accessible and connected. It’s a chance to explore the trails, discover some great cycling routes, and see the Seine from a whole new perspective.
We’ll finish off the ride with a stop at Kilter Brewing!
