SOS is sad to learn of the passing of local wood carver and friend, Murray Watson. Watson is the artist behind the dozens of wonderful wood carvings found throughout the Bois-des-Esprit forest.

Murray Watson Obituary: HERE. SOS is honored his family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Murray's memory to Save Our Seine or The Wildlife Haven Centre. A Tribute to Murray has been placed at the river bend in Bois-des-Esprit forest, as seen below.
